About Dr. Takeyoshi Ota, Heart Surgeon
Greetings! I'm Dr. Takeyoshi Ota, a cardiac surgeon who completed my medical education at Kobe University in Japan in 1999. Throughout my career, I have conducted around 1,500 cardiac surgeries, with a specialization in heart valve procedures, accounting for 1,000 of those surgeries. I am currently an active surgeon at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
I consider my greatest strength to be my extensive surgical expertise and my aptitude for tailoring personalized treatment plans for each patient, resulting in positive outcomes.
I dedicate time to thoroughly discuss every aspect of a patient's condition, including both surgical and non-surgical alternatives, with the patient and their family. This allows them to make well-informed decisions regarding the most suitable care plan for their particular issue.
