About Dr. Philip Patel, Heart Surgeon

Dr. Philip Patel is a cardiologist who specializes in implanting the WATCHMAN™ device at the Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage, California. He is the president of the center and has been practicing for more than 20 years.

Dr. Patel is also an expert in cardiac imaging, valvular heart disease, and heart failure, having published several articles in peer-reviewed journals. His patients highly recommend him for his clear explanations, attentive listening, and excellent follow-up care. He earned his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completed his fellowship at Mayo Clinic.
