About Dr. Joseph A. Lahorra, TAVR Surgeon
Dr. Joseph A. Lahorra is a cardiac electrophysiologist in Weston, Florida. He is affiliated with the Cleveland Clinic. He specializes in treating heart rhythm disorders, such as atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and heart failure. He performs procedures such as pacemaker implantation, defibrillator implantation, and catheter ablation. He has been in practice for more than 20 years and is board-certified in thoracic surgery.
Dr. Lahorra graduated from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He also completed a research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of Michigan.
He joined the Cleveland Clinic Heart Center in 2000 and has been recognized for his excellence in patient care and satisfaction.
